FUEL CHEM^® Multi-Functional Products

Within many markets, there is a recognized need for both combustion enhancement and slag/corrosion control reagents. In order to resolve these issues for its customers, Fuel Tech developed multi-functional products that combine the benefit of a combustion catalyst with well-known ash modifiers. The resulting product is one that helps control opacity, acid smut, and NOx and CO emissions while modifying the fouling and corrosive elements from the fuel input. Multi-functional products can be metered into the fuel or injected as the reagent in a TIFI™ Targeted In-Furnace Injection™ program.
