FUEL CHEM^® Fuel Oil Stabilization/Dispersion

Fuel Tech has a line of fuel oil dispersants and stabilizers with multiple purposes. The primary use of these products is to reincorporate (clean-up) sludge or water accumulation in bulk oil storage tanks. Instead of taking down a tank for an off-line cleaning and paying to dispose of the waste, a fuel oil dispersant can be injected to circulating fuel oil for an on-line cleaning program. The dispersed sludge and water is consumed in the boiler. Or, a fuel oil dispersant or stabilizer can be used continuously at a lower feed ratio to degrade asphaltinic or paraffinic sludge, thereby improving oil atomization and its combustion (greater efficiency, lower particulate opacity).
