Introducing HClear™ HCl Reduction Programs

Our HClear™ technology is designed to reduce chloride emissions. HClear systems are complete operating programs, supported by our highly trained technicians and designed using our extensive computational fluid dynamics modeling and process experience. The Utility MATS and Boiler MACT Rules have outlet emission requirements that will likely require HCl control. HClear is an alternative to DSI, and can reduce potential PM issues while providing a solution for chloride emissions.

Fuel Tech, Inc Acquires Two Air Pollution Control Technology Companies

Fuel Tech is pleased to announce as of April 30, 2014 we have acquired PECO-FGC. This acquisition will expand our offering to include particulate control solutions. PECO's strength is derived from its proven experience, providing Electrostatic Precipitators (ESP) retrofits and upgrades. FGC specializes in flue gas conditioning systems, utilizing SO3 and ammonia based conditioning. With over 20 years of experience in the power industry, PECO-FGC has grown to become leading providers of particulate control technologies. The synergy between Fuel Tech and PECO-FGC is substantial and we look forward to the new opportunities presented to offer multi-pollutant emissions control solutions to a common customer base.

Fuel Tech's APC technologies are installed worldwide on over 900 combustion units, including utility, industrial and municipal solid waste applications. Products include customized NOx control systems, which can reduce emissions from 30% - 85%, and proprietary urea-to-ammonia conversion technology, which can provide safe reagent for use in selective catalytic reduction systems.
